Quick clip of my Rivera K100

I haven't recorded anything for a while and was wanting to try my hand at recording my Rivera K100 that I just biased up with some Ruby EL34BSTR power tubes. For reference this was a Blue Encore 100i > Steinberg MR816csx > Mixbus 32C. The guitar was my Yamaha SG-1000.

I have been practicing to learn the solo to Whitesnake's "Is This Love" and I got to a point where it resembled something similar. As a small disclaimer, I have never really tried to learn how to play lead licks and some nerves kicked in just a bit while attempting this clip.

Any tips on the recording, as well as how to really develop my guitar technique is always welcomed

Yeah dude great tone! Is that a Thin Lizzy solo? Can't remember the name of the tune, but I think it's either Gorham or Moore.

 got excited and posted before I read the whole post.

Thanks guys! I love these Rivera amps, so full of beautiful tones. Thick and warm, but punchy and cutting at the same time. Now I just need to build my chops!

Thank you sir! If I could record this at the proper volume without my attenuator, it wouldn't sound as stuffy. My Rivera amps need to breath to get a more open sound. Plus the attenuator does have an effect on the tone.
