So I got this Fryette thing, wanted to reamp some stems. It's capable of doing it, my dumb ass just can't figure out how.

I have a Mackie Onyx Blackjack, 2 ins and 2 outs, right? I ran a cable from one of them to the input of the Fryette, and one out from the Direct Out back into the other input on the interface. Sounds easy right?

No. I can't figure out in Reaper how to route what where so the direct stem signal goes into the Fryette and then gets that tone on it, then back into the Mackie and recorded effected. Any help?

Have you tried pulling up the matrix and routing the signals there?

sorry I can't help. Reamping is way past my Reaping experience. :(

Seems like too much work for what I do.

Well for one the output from the Mackie most likely is line level and the amp wants instrument level signal. So you need a reamp box to get the level and impedance right.

But from "Sends, Receives and Hardware Output" button on the track you can route the output of the track to go where you want it.
