Tracktion 7 Release

This looks like it could be a great revision of what I think is a great piece of software. Their GUI is top notch in my opinion, and their rack function is one of the coolest features I have seen. I would love to find a plugin that emulated this effect for DAWs like Reaper or Mixbus 3.1. Anyway, I think I will be purchasing the upgrade.

K I'm not gonna lie. That visual plugin feature is the coolest thing I've seen in a minute.
I tried the free version of Tracktion when I bought that Mackie Blackjack and thought it looked rough and it was hard to use. This looks great though.

They have greatly improved the software... When Mackie had it, they were the ones in charge of software design. Now it is back in the hands of the original designer and thus vast improvements have come along. There are a lot of cool features, my favorite being the rack plugin. You can run multiple plugins (from any manufacturer) in a variety of variations to achieve whatever sound you are looking for all for one track. It is fucking brilliant!

There's a free trial, I'm gonna throw it in tomorrow and mess around with it, see what's good. Thanks for throwing it up, even the purchase price is reasonable at $60.

Yeah it really isn't a bad price. It works wells [at least the previous 3 versions did] and the optimization for trying to keep it all on one screen is extremely helpful. I would love to know your results. I won't get to mess with it for a few days, as I am finishing up my senior seminar for pharmacy school [which I give Friday].

That plugin routining/racking thing looks awesome. I'd love to play around with that for a bit. I may have to try the trial if I ever get a free day to screw with music again.
Life's too busy lately to do much more than noodle here or there and toss together a clip or three every few weeks.

I wish I could find a plugin like it that I could use in other DAWs.

That looks awesome. I think I'm going to give it a try and maybe switch over from Studio One.

I have T4 that came with my Blackjack. Is this a short money upgrade?

Threw the demo in last night; it's not functional. There's a hissing noise like every 5-10 seconds. Features are cool, it recognized all my plugins. Don't know if it's worth switching over from Reaper, but definitely cool.

That sounds like a demo product to me. It allows you to use enough to check it out, but the noise is a common thing in DAW demos, that or sound cutting out.
I like Reaper, but the GUI for Tracktion and Mixbus 3.1 suit me more.
