Just got an e-mail that Slate Digital has released the Virtual Preamp Collection:

Seems pretty cool. I'm curious to try this at the front of my FX chains to represent the input stage and then use VCC at the end of the chain to represent the analog summing.

They also announced that the Eiosis Air and Earth modules from their AirEQ plugin will be available soon for the Everything Bundle:

AND they just announced a partnership with Scuffham Amps and S-Gear (amp simulator suite) will soon be a part of the Everything Bundle. I tried the demo a while back and was really impressed with it.

I just decided to take the plunge and sign up for the Everything Bundle a couple of days ago, so now I'm even more stoked. :thu:

Jesus. I'll have to run an update on my everything bundle. They're really tossing some shit at it lately.

Awesome! Glad I went with eh "everything" bundle" when I did. Hopefully they aren't going to start jacking the price of it up...

The pre-amps have my interest. Would be nice to add some color up front, then use VCC after the pres.

I'm always open minded to new Slate stuff.

Pretty cool!

Only thing I don't like about these modeled versions for me at least is they do fine on most of the Drum software, but actual acoustic drums with mic bleeds, not so good.

They work to enhance if you then create midi from real drum tracks and sum them in. I do this for kicks and snares most of time. They do work nicely on EZD and SD2. For vocals I prefer hardware. I'd buy the Slate Mic rig, but that's a bit much for modeled mic options. They sound as good as what I have seen in Focusrite mic/ch emulators. Preamp bundle is sweet though.
