If you want to get rich, open a labeling and packaging company.
Yesterday, my fiancé and I toured 4 facilities all putting bids in on handling our labeling and packaging needs. Jesus. What bad economy? They were so backed up that all of them were running 3 shifts, 24 hours a day.
One man, at the smaller of the 4 said they just broke ground on a new facility and he's so busy he's had to turn down a lot of orders in the fall because he just couldn't get them in- no available machines.
I was astonished. It's even got me thinking about the possibility of going in on one (that's the goal anyways, to be all in-house). The parking lots were filled with nice cars (workers are getting paid- I always look for that as a sort of barometer as to how the employees are being compensated).
