NMD: Miktek C1 (clips)

I picked a new condenser mic last week. I was looking for something to be my go to mic for vocals and acoustic instruments so I wanted fairly neutral sounding. After a little research I settled on the Miktek C1 FET. Initial impression is its a well built mic that comes with a great shockmount. The sound its fairly neutral, *slightly* hyped in the top end with a ton of clarity.

I had the chance to record vocals for a friend of mine. I'm really happy with the results. This is the Neve 1073 preamp model in my Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56. First is the song itself, the vocals have a touch of compression and EQ. Second is a chunk of the vocals isolated with no processing.
