Been meaning to get this amp sim for a while now, its fantastic. Comparing it to Recabinet 4, its a bit less raw and fits in the mix a bit better without having to do a shit ton of post EQ. Here's a clip with the TSE and Recabinet Serpent model running through Guitar Hacks Fredman style impulses. Excuse the potato bass playing, wasn't even gonna post this up but I think it sounds great and didn't feel like getting it tighter.
Is that one side TSE and one side Serpent, or are you using the TSE preamp section and the Serpent power amp section on both sides?

Its quad tracked, 2 tracks TSE, 2 tracks Serpent. They are about 60/40 mixed volumewise with the TSE being the dominant tone.

Same track, mic'ed up my Marshall 1960A with a Beta 57 after dialing in a tone in room. It's definitely different, better? Not quite sure https://soundcloud.com/exafro/duhduhmic

They both sound great. It's hard to choose, but for this riff I think the bigger low mids of the miked clip works for the riff and makes it sound more...thunderous. I'm listening on earbuds though so I really have no idea what's going on with the low-low end, but the rest of the frequency spectrum makes the miked clip sound more massive.
The TSE clip does have a nice midrange grind to it though. I think blending the two together would be awesome.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I like the mic'ed version better, its a bit smoother on the high end to me, but I tend to like weird tones.
