My humble suggestion, learn/understand something that you would derive enjoyment from lot's of information at your fingertips these days.

Seriously though, I kinda get where you're coming from. Having the band helps me deal with the monotony.

I'm with ya. I remember when i used to enjoy shit like movies, video games, guitar... now i can't play a game or a guitar for more than 25 minutes without getting bored. I can't watch a movie without being on my phone / the internet the whole time. i'll buy new games or movies or guitar stuff, but nothing re-kindles my interest. Hell, even jerking off is losing its appeal.

Doc says this is textbook anxiety / depression. Gave me a book on the connection between anxiety and asperger's syndrome. I'm still too pissed to open it at the moment.

On my days off, i turn on the TV and browse wikipedia for hours soaking up everything i can in an attempt to pass time. Then i don't sleep and all the shit i learned that day is swimming in my head and won't slow down. Haven't really found anything that works.

But i did put in for two weeks off work, so i might use that time to get away from everything that's causing the anxiety. Might send the wife away for a day or two and turn my phone off. Might send myself away for a few days.

It's about finding what's causing you anxiety and doing what you can to deal with it or get away from it.

i have nothing causing me anxiety. i just have it.
i need a new car, but that's not really bugging me now that i can afford another car.
my job is simple, but it pays enough to keep me comfortable, and it's pretty action packed most days.
i have no friends, but i don't talk to people either. i have anxiety, anger, and depression disorders tied to aspergers. so there's like no cure.

my life is just empty and boring. i have all i need to survive, and i don't know what else to do.

Try practicking ritchcraft.

Or sticking your dick in mashed potatoes.

I don't know, brah. I'm not much of a life coach. I'm pretty happy with getting drunk and playing guitar.

there's gotta be something i can buy, or do, other than drugs, to fill the emptiness.
