I'm having a total brain fart and can't think of what the hell to search for. I've got one pair of studio monitors that I want to to be able to switch between to interfaces (both have 1/4 balanced trs jacks out). What the hell do I need and what do you call it?? Like an audio router or something like that? Cheers, Lucius

NOTE: I'd rather just push a button or switch and have it route audio from one of the two sources. I could use a patch bay but that is clunky as shit. Cheers, Lucius

Do you have 2 spare inputs on one of the interfaces? If so you could route the output of the other interface to the spare inputs. Then hook up your monitors to the first interface.

What interface do you have? Most have an option in the control software to do just this with a mouse click, connect monitors A to outputs 1&2 and the next pair to 3&4, then just switch the output between those in the software.
