Re-decorated...edited/updated with new pics:

Backstory...this was a "wood shop" room when we bought the house last April. Decided in January to demolish it and build a studio from scratch. Still a work in progress...

There's some serious competition in the Home Studio/Recording Rig this year so, I have no illusions of winning

Here's a before and after pic of my recording rig.
I need a bigger boat so, I elevated things since last year...

Here's my 2014 entry...
Image

For 2015, I built a riser to make some extra room...

Here's a close up of my lunchbox. The Heritage Audio 73jr is so transparent that, it doesn't seem to do anything!
I like the Really Nice Compressor. The extra slot will have an Aphex Exciter soon.
I've been transferring cassettes and old show DV vids to the digital realm, hence, the Sony DV player and Denon cassette deck.
Eventually, I'll add a pair of Yamaha HS8's

What do I win for messiest studio (apartment)?

I have an MR816X + Saffire Pro 24 combo and a bunch of mics at the rehearsal space for drums that's not in the pics.

Poverty speaker stands. But I'm not paying $300 for something that's going to sound worse than the books+foam :D.

I also can't find ones that are the right height, absolutely no one seems to make 10" tall stands, the smallest ones are twice that.

RaceU4her got my vote. He has it all: separate drum room, great gear and a nice, sunny space to work.

SexPanther's space looks fantastic... still has that new smell I bet. :rawk:
JerEvil - Wow! Absolutely spotless! :cop:
NakedZen - some great Coraxo recordings coming out of that room! Image
Trimix - Quite an assortment of gear - looks awesome!!! :thu:
EJ - That Art Pro is sweet - I need some rack gear! Image
