I ordered a Motorola SB6121 DOC3 cable modem to replace my Comcast leased modem. After reading the reviews on Amazon I it appeared to be a good modem and is approved by Comcast (3 stars). I got to reading more about this modem last evening and see people are having terrible luck with dropoff and rebooting Any of you guys using the SB6121 with Comcast?

i'm running an sb6120 which as i understand has the same tech specs & firmware.

i'm on my 2nd one - first one failed after 18mos or so & had the symptoms you describe.
