pedals that need batteries

I was thinking about my pedalboard, and how nice it would be to have my Zvex SHO and a MK1.5 fuzz on my board, but they do not have 9v jacks. Battery only.
Do any of you do this? you just unplug them after you're done? kind of a pain?

Pretty much, but I'm used to it.Have done it for years.
Even pedals that willrun off adapters..some (to my ears) only sound right when powered off a 9v. (especially ones that sound better with a half drained battery. Not to be like Eric Johnson, but some pedals just sound better that way).

I can't remember....do you have to unplug both IN/OUT cables or just one?
Will a 9v battery power adapter harm transistors?

I unplug my fuzzes after each practice but its a pain in the dick.
I've been thinking about upgrading my power supply from the iso5 to the Pp2+ and running the 9volt adapters for the fuzz. The pp2+ has voltage dip controls so the fuzz will see power similar to a 9v.

Only the input needs to be unplugged and no they won't. The fuzz may not sound the best when run on straight 9v so use your ears.

Chuck Nutz gave me shit for not having one once. I bought one and my dick instantly grew bigger... and it beautifully powers that fuzz face that I haven't built yet without damaging any components because it can dial back the volts a few.

Yup, the MKII I just built actually sounded best with between 2-4v going to it...Was pretty cool to play with.
But yes, everyone should have a PP2+
