I know the BE is all I need.

But, ZenPro is selling the Black and Gold model with the aluminum case and shockmount for $149.

I'd be crazy to not spend the extra $20 for that stuff, right?

worth 20 bucks absolutely. i have the blumlein set, and those mics look like they've never been touched 5 years later. they have-- but it's nice to store ribbons in a decent case. they're fragile, and totally worth the money. the shockmounts are nice too, and work well for pencil mics or 57's whatever.
