I've owned basically every Peavey USA guitar.
The predator is a piece of fucking shit and should not be bothered with. Not even the AX and other models.

What?
Billy that's the first ultra-negative thing I've seen about any USA Peavey guitar. The Predator strat copies are awesome. The Limited are great too, even the EXP models IMO.

I own two of them. Great guitars with electronics and tuner upgrade. I also have locked the trem on them

Piece of shit finish, piece of shit wood quality. Shitty electronics. They are hardly "USA strats" in the sense of quality expectation.
Seriously, save your $150, spend $250 and get a carved top Generation (tele). World of difference in quality.
