Wow. I loved Frogstomp they made that album when they were like 15.

Guess he's just doing his thing now, but jesus what a change!

his tattoo is probably based on Ryan Gosling's jacket.

BTW, I'm pretty sure Danial Johns was posting on TGP or HC a few years back. He was one of the only pros who ever showed up and revealed himself.

This shit is fucking sad. Frogstomp was the bees knees when I was in 6th grade. I used to be able to play most of that album.

The song is ok for the style... he sounds a lot like Seal. But yeah huge style change.

I gave them a pass initially because they were kids.

Then I wanted to punch them.

It wasn't an all-at-once change.

Listen to the albums in between Frog Stomp and now. The change was pretty gradual, but Johns was clearly moving in a much more complex/weird direction quickly. I like a lot of their weird stuff. Definitely doesn't rock, but it's cool.

Yes.

Young Modern is an AWESOME record. They grew up and wrote really cool, weird stuff after the kidgrunge.

I was going to say I liked this song better when it was done by a woman named Sade...

You're right. Somewhere along the way he decided to turn in to George Michaels.
