If I ever travel to New York, I will go to the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square to see this - the single most important piece of musical gear in my life
...and God help me from trying to steal it

I'm not worthy of touching it.
It's gonna be terribly embarrassing explaining to the police officers why I'm standing in the middle of the Hard Rock Times Sq with my pants around my ankles

ing like mad.

These two fuknuts got to fondle it

It used to annoy the fuck out of almost every guitarist I knew that all of my guitars were tuned to C# std when I was young. People would be like why the fuck you tune to C#, and I'd be like because mother fucking Iommi bitch.
Speaking of, I'm thinking of switching to 13-56 with a wound G on my LP std, so it holds together a little better when I go down to C for some QOTSA and Kyuss, but no one, and I mean no one makes a set of pure nickle strings in that range. What are you using for the lower shit?
I finally dedicated one guitar (my old Carvin) to C# just recently, 'cause I got tired of trying to relearn songs in Drop D - which was due to all my guitars needing to be in E for the church band. Now, when I get in my home studio with the lights low and the horns on, I can shake the whole goddam house!
I'm running 10s on it. May go to 11s, because I play pretty hamfisted, but that's as big as I wanna go for now. Saving up for an LP, which will replace my SG as my primary E guitar - then the SG's gonna be my C# guitar, and may be trying the bigger strings. Really like the thought of a wound G for the heavier chords, but how does it do for playing leads?

I posted this a while back in some other thread, but this definitely belongs here. This is absolutely KILLER - young, hungry Sabbath. And, Iommi's playing that awesome white Les Paul SG guitar with 3 PUs.

Crazy stuff on this pre-Sabbath demo. Awesome vintage lead playing from Iommi - shows the massive potential for what came next.

And I'm realizing I haven't hear it all - holy FUZZ!!!
