Ok, so after about an hour with the amp and 3 guitars, here is the quick and dirty. the amp appears to be very responsive.

I used a DK2m with a maple board, My SL2H with an ebony board and my Michael Kelly with the mahog/rosewood.

Changing guitars required tweaking the setting a bit. It is also a fine line between dialing in mush, or a ice pick. The grail is somewhere in between.

If this amp does not have enough gain for you, I dont know what to say.

The power 1&2 settings and the Brown 1&2 could really be the same channels with my ears, just a bit more aggressive on the 2 channels. The southern sounds like crap on the recordings so far on Youtube, but I like it with the gain dialed back in person.

The clean channel is what everyone else has stated already on the THR10.

The volume gets plenty loud for practice, but would never work with a drummer live.

All in all, worth the $299. After some tweaking with the editor and more user patches, it will be great.

It does sound better than the first series of the Vypyr and the Line six offerings in the price range.

This amp has had me intrigued for a while now... but the last thing I need is another amp
