It was only here for like 10 minutes though. No accumulation or wind afterwards. It was beyond strange. The sun came out, then I went for a walk with my girlfriend.

FYI, if you want to go for Chinese in Kensington some time, Urban Rice was tasty. Good service and large portions. The ginger beef actually tastes like fresh ginger!

Word. First it went brown as the wind was picking up kinds of dirt and debris, then within less than 3 minutes the snow started to come, literally sideways. Visibility was maybe 2 car lengths.

What were you test driving?

A sportscar with horsepower and torque in the 300s, and 0 to 60mph in the really low 5s.

It's the same here, lol'ing at UK'ers when they get a light shower and everyone panics.

We went to have a bachelor party for my friend on a frozen lake at -40. We had planned to throw him in the water but that seemed a bit too much at that temp.

So we had him ski around the lake dressed as a moose instead.

-40 is freaking brutal. I experienced that once in my life. was -20 and with the windchill was -40. Went and saw The Goo Goo Dolls and Bush the first night. Had to walk a mile from the civic center to the parking lot, OMG I thought we would freeze to death. We were knocking on peoples windows asking if they would let us sit in their car for a minute to warm up. Being in the city, no one would let us.. That sucked.. hahaha The second night was just as cold and we saw Alanis Morissette and Loud Lucy but have nearly as far to walk.

Tbh I think -20 with heavy wind feels a lot worse than -40 and calm. Thankfully it was that cold only during the morning, we went to the lake at 4 am and started drinking heavily. (We rented a cabin there, so sauna+ice hole swimming+alcohol= awesome)

I'm in southeastern MA and we got hammered. About 2 feet of snow and gusts reported up to 86 mph. Power is still out for a lot of people.

Oh hey your in Hartford, we got a little worse in Enfield. At one point it was snowing 6 inches an hour, was crazy, never saw anything like that before.

I actually live in Middletown, which was one of the worse hit areas I believe, in terms of snow totals and overall slow response. My street just got plowed this morning from what I gather (I left for work around 5:30am and it hadn't been done yet).

Bleh... I figured being only about 2 miles from a hospital would have it's perks, but I guess I was wrong. Can't bitch too much though, as this was probably the most amount of snow fall I've seen overnight in the last decade...
