My new navigation app takes me through the poorest most ghetto parts of L.A. while driving to work from home. In fact it frequently takes me through the very intersection where the L.A. riots popped off, Florence and Normandie. Anyway, my point is that while trying not to be a menace to South Central while driving to work through the hood I often times play the local "old school hip-hop" station on my radio. I feel like, if I'm rollin' to Tupac and Dr. Dre I'll blend in a little better. It actually kinda works. Get in the zone, so to speak.

Sometimes the station plays really cool shit like KRS-1, Method Man / Red Man, and the other day I heard Summertime.

I don't get the thread title, but cool video.
Lots of Philly footage/landmarks.

Edit - OK watched it again on my TV - I caught it (thread title) at the beginning that time

I just had a mental picture of the scene from Office Space where Michael Bolton is waiting at the red light rappin' along with Ghetto Boys, and then rolls up his window real quick when the guy wants to wash his windows.

Seriously though - No more jazz on the way to work, Mike? Educate them ghetto streets!

I'm a multifaceted Los Angelino. I'm down with the pimps and ho's too.
