http://www.virgin.com/music/how-taylor- ... m=referralI've never been a fan of her music, but it is great to see an influential figure actually standing up for the traditional way of selling music. Its especially bold, being that her album is the highest selling of this year and also the only one to go platinum.

I give her some big props for doing this... takes balls to tell someone like spotify to essentially fuck off, but she has a large enough fan base to do that. I'm not a fan and will not be buying the CD BUT I hope it's a good album and not just a CD with a few singles and fluff.

i doubt this was any percentage a taylor swift idea, but 100% a taylor swift's marketing team idea
not that that is necessarily a bad thing, just making sure spades are labeled correctly.

I'd like to think that complete albums and physical media still has it's place.... IMO digital is fantastic for singles but there's something about a complete album with a theme and great art work to accompany it that's just awesome.

Spotify is fucking garbage I don't understand how so many people use it

I back her sentiment, but fuck her, the ONLY person in the world still selling platinum isn't the person that needs to be pulling their shit from spotify

Actually - they would have the most effect on Spotify by doing that though. Kudos to her.

Aside from their royalty payments, I can't see any real reason to complain about Spotify.

Actually, records in Europe still sell 4-5 million on the reg. She is the only one in the U.S. still selling platinum.
