the new stuff my guys and are doing is like condensed post rock. sounds like this stuff, but not as dark, and with 2-4 min songs.
im digging em. hope the band stays motivated enough to record them.
will be doing them at hole in the wall on the 14th

This record is an underrated post-rock gem (IMO):

For post-metal, this record also doesn't seem to get the credit it deserves:

Also, not sure if they're too well known for this thread, but check out Saxon shore.
The exquisite death of Saxon shore was a game changing album for me.

Ok, i said instrumental only but opening it up for same genre with vocals since a few have already posted some and i'm itching to share this band....
Iceland puts out some great bands. These guys are very post rock but also go full on post metal at times. The signing can range anywhere from Sigur Ros-esque to Deftones-esque to full on screaming. Pretty awesome IMO.

Some great stuff in this thread. Especially digging To Destroy A City and I'm listening to more We Made God right now... powerful stuff.
Here's some more post-metal:

If by post rock that means a nerdy Korean power trio doing poppy prog, then Life and Time ?
