Buying a Marshall 6100, what preamp tubes?

I got a Marshall 6100 on the way(el34) and I'm getting some SED winged =c='s for the power tubes but not sure what to get on the preamps.

I have some JJ's, Tung-Sols, Ruby HG5's(chinese), and Sovtek LPS

I don't like the JJ, too dark and too muddy on previous amps. Tung Sols are great but bright and LPS has great distortion but clean is meh, good for PI. HG5's... kinda meh on both clean and distortion.

I need 7 lol...

What should I use/get? Can the LPS be put after a cathode follower? Was thinking Tung Sol in v1, rest LPS.

JJ's are great in Marshall's to help tame the excessive brightness most of them have.

I like JJs in a Marshall pre. As said already, it helps with the brightness. I have a mix of EHX and JJs in my Mesa Single Rectifier, but in my JCM900 SL-X I have all JJ 12AX7s. It's easy.

I like Tung Sols, but then again, I usually roll with the presence knob on a pretty low setting :idk:
