Guitars are Schecter C-1 Classic with D-Sonic ~~> Peavey 6505+ ~~> Bogner Uberkab (mic'd the V30).

Disclaimer: I hate hate hate the drums. But, I didn't do them. My drummer did. He and I have a disagreement on what a good snare sounds like, apparently. I tried to mix them and the bass tone down so the guitars would shine through more...so, please only judge me on the guitar tones.

Not only does the snare sound all St. Anger'ish, it has this awesome over the top reverb on it.

Yeah..he's 6'4" 250+ lbs, and we work together. I don't think I'd be getting away with that. Plus, he recorded and mixed all of that himself. I didn't get a say, really. In fact, I didn't really realize that it was that bad until the other night when I was recording these guitar tracks.

Believe it or not, I didn't notice it in the mix on the rest of our stuff..

I already dread programming drums and I don't even have recording stuff yet.

That is a great main riff. Any double tracking for the guitars? If anything, it could use more of that tasty tone.

Yeah, it's actually double tracked on each side...although I'm not sure if the mix is right as I was hastily throwing it together late at night, but it should be a track of the crunch channel boosted with a bad monkey plus a track of the lead channel boosted with the same.

Never let a drummer do a mix! LOL. The guitar riff is killer and I like the tones as well. The 6505+ is one of the best amps ever for recording.

Drum sux but...the guitar makes up for it. Sounds mean as fk and great riffs throughout. Slap your drummer. His was weak sauce and yours was all powerful.
