whats your favorite RATT song?
If you don't like RATT, well at least the first 4 albums then GTFO.
Back for more and Way Cool jr are my absolute favorite songs by them, Warren is just brilliant on both.
You're in Love, Wanted Man and Body talk are also great tracks.

I don't know - name some.
Re: whats your favorite RATT song?
You're in Love is a great riff to jam on.
And Of course Lay it Down, another badass riff.

I'm fairly certain the only RATT song I can name for sure is Round and Round.
And I'm not positive that's how its written.

You're in Love is my favorite right now.
I'll always love Round and Round.
Lay it Down has been my favorite, since the day I first heard it.
I can't express in words how much I hate Way Cool Jr., despite Warren's playing.
I still love I Want a Woman off RFTS.
I also still love Slip of the Lip and Body Talk off DU.
I still love Lovin' You's a Dirty Job. Thank god for MP3s, I don't have to listen to Detonator to cue it up.

They get a lot of grief for being the soundtrack to RigTalk; but Out of the Cellar and Invasion were great back in the day. DiMartini is a boss. Their last cd was actually pretty damn good as well. Carlos Cavazo was on 2nd guitar and they made a really good team, imo. I like the obvious ones (Lay it Down, You're In Love, Wanted Man) but there are some more obscure gems as well(The Morning After is one of my favorites).

Only RATT album (EP) I ever really liked

The first two songs (Sweet Cheater and U Think You're Tough) were pretty cool.

Re: whats your favorite RATT song?
I've been on a huge Ratt kick lately. For me my tops are Lay it Down, Way Cool Jr and Slip of the Lip. Ballsy fuckin riffs and great hooks. And Warren's playing is awesome. Super tasty stuff. And the solo in Nobody Rides for Free is awesome.

Re: whats your favorite RATT song?
Shame Shame Shame was always pretty cool, especially with that intro.
And that little lick into Top Secret is badass too.
I always get sad when I think of how much better they would've been with a singer that had more than 1/4 octave range, and the worst vocal tone ever heard

say what you want about Pearcy, but pre 1991 his voice was instantly recognizable and gave the songs a unique touch that most other bands didn't have. So many generic vocalists at that time, that's why all those bands were buried in a mire of hair spray and reverbed snare drums. Ratt had their own thing going imo. I loved his vocals growing up, they just felt right.

That is true, his voice did standout. And being that (I believe) he wrote most of if not all the lyrics, the lyric lines fit his voice well enough.
A very hard voice for cover bands to copy it seems

Agreed with all of the above. I've only seen him live once on one of his solo tours, opening for WASP. Early 2000s I think. Vocals were complete garbage that particular night but whatever. I've always liked his vocals on the 80s albums.

Lay it Down.
Lack of Communication is a close second. They really had some cool riffs.

I heard Warren's solos on the Cellar record were done on an old Fender amp. Pretty cool tone.
