Went to this show last night, shit was fuckin nuts, I recommend catching this if it roles through your town.

First up was Cloudkicker, and for those who don't know, is the solo project of Ben Sharp. HHis material has never been toured on before now, and Intronaut learned his set and we're the backing band. Shit was fucking immense. I was really impressed at how flawlessly Intronaut assumed that role, and to see those dudes playing different stuff. Triple les paul action on stage too, it was schweet. Also, I have never seen that venue that packed for the first band up.

Next was intronaut, which as always was fucking mind blowing. They're seriously one of my favorite bands. After them was Tesseract, which was killer as well. Whoever was running sound last night did a killer job, possibly the best sound I've heard at that venue.

Well his early stuff from like 5 years ago is like djenty progressive stuff, but since then he's gone in a more prog/post-metalish direction

I love all three bands, all part of my regular rotation. Anything Ben Sharp does just seems awesome, though it changes very drastically from album to album lately. Sounds like a great show!

And this tour hits its closest point to me tomorrow. I didn't find out about it today, and I'm sicker than I've been in years.

Fuck life. Fuck everything.

Wonder how many years and lead singers it'll be before I get another chance to see TesseracT?

Yeah, the Cloudkicker set kicked ass, they played almost all of Subsume, a few of Beacons, and one off The Discovery iirc

They seem to be touring the US with more frequency at least, I also caught them back in October. But they will probably have a new singer by the time they come here again
