New member here. Some of you may know me from the ESP forum. It's pretty slow there now, so a member there recommended this forum to me. I was told that this forum has a good amount of gear talk plus some occasional shenanigans. Now on to the gear. The rectoverb I bought recently from GuitarBilly.

Rectoverb and 2x12 cab:

It's an EMG ES-18. You put the batteries in it (or use a power adapter) instead of in your EMG equipped guitar. It has a switch to power the pickups at either 9V or 18V. It's great if you have multiple guitars with EMG pickups or you just don't have room for any batteries in your guitar. My Phoenix, for example, does not even have room for one 9V battery under the pickguard because the EMG wiring takes up so much room already.

Yep. It's convenient for me since all my guitars get EMGs eventually.

I'm not a big fan of EMGs in guitars but I loved them in my bass. Having something like that really is awesome if you have multiple EMG guitars though, would really make life easier.
