man, that was fun, but not to sound like an old man: i need to regulate my preshow beers. everything went ok, but man, afterwards....its like running a mile at full sprint, fully wasted.

I had a great time guys. Great to see you all play. Shea really shredded it. If I didn't have a gig earlier that night, I would've loved to play too. Maybe next time.

im just glad nothing got destroyed in the rain during loadout (that i know of).

shea needs to tape his cable in. hat shit kept happening to me, so i started looping it through the pedalboard slats.

fuck those cables from guitar center though. the ones with the blue insulation and the lifetime warranty. yeah, i can go exchange it, but damn they fail often. and it sucks trying to troubleshoot an intermittent cable fault mid set. REALLY sucks. i had two on standby because i was already suspicious of that one. but it ended up working out.

You guys definitely brought it!

No shit right? Normally I would have locked my cable in but its been a year since I gigged and forgot some of my set up routine.

Literally pulled out 3 times in the first song. Not to mention by the time I got on stage and started (1:15 am or so?) I was pretty drunk myself. Not sure if I even played all that well and since there were no monitors (sure they were there, but they were completely off) I was just prayin' I was singing in key.

Wish someone would have gotten some video. I want to hear so just how well (or bad ) we sounded.

Also, that picture of you air guitaring is hilarious.

dude, you were ON. there were parts you were singing over matching lead lines and i was like FFFFFFFUUUUUUUU
other than the cable and the jiggle billy dance, no one would have ever known you were drunk. you killed it. there was a discernable change in the air, in the crowd, when you started going. like "who the fu..." everyone turned to the stage.

i thought it was funny that literally seconds after you stopped i made my way through to talk to you and you had already made it to the back bar

yeah no monitors and i guess the band before us had requested a bunch of delay/verb on the vox and it was still there when i started, for at least half of my set. was gone by the end/start of shea's though for sure.

Damn I don't remember any of that. I was super focused on the music and I didn't really look up very often or even talk between songs (which I normally do). I was like, "first show back, must. kill. it." and didn't pay attention to much else. Plus I felt retarded that my cable came out so many times. I remember the last time it happened I threw my arms up like "Fucking for real?!?"

So when I went to that back bar to get a shot, I forgot my tab was at the front bar... Went back to front bar, got a shot of tequila, and right as I was shooting it someone made me laugh and the entire shot came back out through my nose. And holy shit did that fucking hurt. Literally the rest of the night my nose was on fire.

I probably would have talked more if we actually had a band name to mention...

sucks we couldnt get our shit together for a massive gab bbq the next day, but my body was fucking TOAST. i felt horrible. just every muscle shredded. i dont know why.

Ya we were all zombified as well. We went to Crackel Barrel for a massive breakfast and it was all over that.

No shit. That day after flew by lol

Also, I win the derp award for the show for playing with my wah on the entire first song




Given I don't use a wah at all with that band, I really facepalmed when I clicked it off and the stage rumbled lol
