I do own guns, but one thing has nothing to do with another. I don't carry, but I still own guns. Am I still compensating and wanting to be a big shot? Or is it only people who carry are compensating? You wrapped up too many conclusions in one statement that when combined, make you look like the absolute value of the person you ridicule. There is no difference.
Marshallnoise where are you from? Your opinions on various topics seem to lie outside the bounds of the average joe imo.
Here's my question, and maybe everyone can weigh in.
Fact = Zimmerman is not a law enforcement officer, nor was/is affiliated with any neighborhood watch agency. Fact = While not officers of the law, 911 dispatchers are authorized representatives of law enforcement. Fact = Zimmerman was told repeatedly to not pursue. Fact = Zimmerman ignored the 911 dispatcher's directive and chose to escalate the situation, and is on tape making questionable/inflammatory remarks.
How many of you out there, given the same circumstances, would have BLATANTLY IGNORED THE INSTRUCTIONS OF A 911 OPERATOR?
Posit: your friend is having a heart-attack and the 911 operator instructs you to place a pillow under his/her legs. Do you do as instructed, or do you decide, "No, I know better, I'm going to put a pillow over his/her face to keep pollutants out?" (Credentialed health care professionals exempt from answering.)
Be honest. As soon as Zimmerman got out of the vehicle against 911 orders, he stepped off the reservation and outside the law. Airline stewards/stewardesses are not law enforcement officers, but Federal law requires you to comply with all crew member instructions while on the aircraft. I don't see how this is different. Little help?
Race Too much gear, getting there on the talent...

If I want to walk behind someone, 911 has no right to tell me otherwise.
Your example is a reach and pathetic.
If 911 tells you to jump off a bridge, do you do it? You probably would, they are nomber Juan and no everytheen and is right always, right?

Jeebus, that's really not a very good argument to come with.
- Zimmerman was the coordinator of the neighborhood watch program. (I can't find anything that disputes that)
- Zimmerman was not told repeatedly not to persue. He was asked if he was following Martin AFTER he got out of his truck. He was told, ONCE, that he didn't need to do that (which was not a firm order). Zimmerman responded with "Okay" and "he ran." It is totally unclear whether Zimmerman continued to persue Martin after he was told by dispatchers that he didnt need to, althought it seems clear that he did not run after him because he was still on the phone for some time discussing where to meet the police.
Where do you people get your facts from????

Piers Morgan. Duh.
Media = Narrative. Find out what the narrative is, you find the bias. Bias isn't bad in and of itself, but not disclosing the bias or narrating a story based on a specific bias is VERY bad, disingenuous, evil.

oh, and per Jabba, Trayvon was scared GZ was going to rape him... that's why she told him to run. holy shit. i wish even half of the crap in this story was made up. just half. to make it believable.

Well, me I get my facts from my preconcieved notions and from bits and pieces of half heard accounts from coworkers who watch that love line guy debate with people who have strong opinions one way or another about half heard facts they picked out of commentaries from various TV personalities such as Nancy Grace.
