So what's the accepted forum etiquette on telling how you voted?
And can we post in the different BOTR threads now?

Final winners are tallied and the overall category thread is up. A lot of good stuff out here. I'm going to do the drawing for the two 5 packs of Slagle Strings by Friday. Get your votes in! Top 5 winners all get prizes!

Travesty that a bass rig is winning this thing.

I voted for Duncan's head/cab rig - he takes lovely pictures!

The fuzz on the Weirding Module is pretty decent but, the modulation effects are too weird for me.
You'll learn to like it!!!

So the overall winner this year was Ajax's Bass Rig: The Ceriatone Model T clone. So let's talk about prizes and such. To be honest we had a pretty rough turnout this year compared to previous years despite having a higher prize pool than ever. And we had a few folks with multiple entries in the finals but only about 8 people total. So here's what I was thinking. Let me know if you guys are good with this or nah. Ajax had the most votes for a rig, so he gets first pick of the prize pool. Second place would be Duncan with his Head/Cab. Next would be itchy with his Man Cave/Music Love Dungeon. After that, Duncan would be next due to his WDW having two votes. Taht being said, since he's already been in the prize pool for one, would he be ok with passing over to the next person? There's a bunch of folks with 1 vote that only had 1 entry in the finals. So I'm thinking Marc G would be 4th and to be honest I was going to give my 1 vote for myself to bubbastain anyway because his rig is way cooler than mine and being the host, I don't feel it's right sneaking a prize. And sent I hadn't sent out the two 5 packs of strings yet I was thinking those would go to maggotspawn and JSutter. That way all 7 participants in the final that aren't me walk away with something. Let me know guys. I'm thinking this would be a reasonable solution for the finals.

I'll be honest.... I think the whole thing has run it's course for now. Maybe we should give it a break for a year or two and then revisit.
