Speaking of Sci Fi, I can't help it but I love the newer Battlestar Galactica. None of my friends will watch it though so I've got no one to geek out with about it.

Amazon had Battlestar Galactica on special this past weekend and I almost caved and bought it. The entire series for $40 at one point. My wife saw me and stopped me. She said, "I'm tired of you buying shows that are long canceled, getting me into them, and then leaving me wanting more. No."

So if I get that, I'll have to sneak it.

How do studio execs decide on directors anymore? There can't be a legitimate decision making process or M. Night would have been run off years ago. I mean, Michael Bay may make shitfests, but at least his shitfests rake in enough cash to make it seem like a smart business decision. What's the sell with M. Night? Now that Mystery Science Theater is off the air, it's not even like they need to keep a backstock of shit movies, so what's the story?

Maybe he holds ransom pictures of studio execs taking turns chugging toddler cock.

Also, it's sitting at 12%-13% on Rotten Tomatoes.

So yeah...it's bad.

Wait...Will Smith's character in this movie is seriously named "Cypher Raige?"

Is the screenwriter a 13-year old who got his start in Matrix fanfic?

The cool thing about it is, it all wraps up in the end. So its not like they canceled it before they could tie up the plot. That Portlandia episode is actually what inspired me to give it a try.

Murdoch wrote:If not that, it has to be something. The Sixth Sense was great, but that's about it. Signs was meh, but it's retroactively made worse by finding out that the preacher Mel Gibson is a flaming anti-Semite with ridiculous anger issues. Everything else after that had reviews that were so scathingly bad that I refused to watch any of them.

I've actually never watched Sixth Sense all the way through. the only Shamalalalamananana movie I liked was Unbreakable with Bruce Willis and Sam Jackson.

Everyone, avoid Airbender. That redefines horrible cinema. There literally was no discernable plot. At all. My wife insisted on watching it, and we were literally left scratching our heads at the end of it asking what happened. It felt like it ran for hours, and nothing happened. Yeesh.

Literally named "Star Wars: A porn parody." Can't miss it if you go searching. The guy that plays Luke does it perfectly. The cantina scene . . . mmmmmmmmm.

Worth a buy for the extras. I love DVD extras. They show how "Luke" developed his character from whiney snivelling dork to arrogant snivelling dork.

And green screen shots. :thu:

Plus, the wife likes it on the big screen. :cop:

I only pay for good porn. Interwebz is for previews.

Our library is getting quite extensive. I keep talking with the wife about getting a nice glass case to keep it in in the living room, with professional lighting.

I only pay for good stuff. As for stuff you can buy from an adult store, I'm VERY picky about what I get. Only certain companys, directors, etc. About 75% of my stuff is all movies put out by Evil Angel. Evil Angel movies RULE. Best directors. Best actresses. not to mention, the filthiest.

Some DVD's ...the best scenes are in the extra footage / DVD Extras.

Ive got a pretty good sized collection. I would have alot more, but I got rid of a TON of it back about 5 years or so ago.

Bonus scenes on the Pirates movies = +++++++++. That three way lesbo attack was brutally awesome. And in the making of even the camera dudes were going, "whoah, hey what, whoah, what are you, whoah." That's good stuff.

I've learned to be fussy before shelling out dollars on smut too. Previews, looking into the company. Even so I've been burned. The Four (followup to 300, about the women) was HORRIBLE. They forgot they were making pronz. But most of the others we've gotten are at least entertaining.

Belladonna spitting in that chick's mouth....HAWT.

Im about the same way. You get what you pay for most of the time. Usually, I can look at the DVD box & tell if it's any good.

Cheap vids = always suck.
The 4-5 hr compilations always suck.
Anything with "barbie doll" fake tits / guido looking women on the cover always sucks.
Most anything made by Vivid is usually lame.
Anything with dolled up stripper looking chicks on the cover is always lame.
anything that's ony 3 or 4 scenes is lame.

I will say that there are a few parodys that have really suprised me that I actually liked (other than the parody novelty)

My wife prefers the parodies cause she gets all wrapped up in the stories, so we have a few of them around.

Brazzers videos are NEVER worth buying. Unless you want something to laugh at and not turn you on. The only times they ever have hawt women they stick them in the background of group scenes and try to keep them hidden.

Yeah. A girl who works at one of our local stores told me the same thing about Brazzers. She said theyre a waste.

I think Im gonna start orering my stuff direct. Our local stores are carrying less & less good quality stuff. I guess the cheap shit is their bread & butter. They're not even stocking ButtmaN Magazine anymore :-q

Ah, memories. Many a day, my friend. Many a day.

I never understood WHY there were so many dirty mags tossed into ditches, but that's where they always were. I could never bring myself to throw any of them out.

Yup. If they werent laying in the ditch, we always found them underneath the Interstate 24 overpass.

Maybe it's just a tradition... dudes found dirty mags in the ditch when they were kids..so they're pitchin' theirs to keep the tradition goin.

I can remember findin em..& hidin' em down my pants leg (in case my parents drove my lol.

Be out in my fave hiding place..out in the woods with the centerfolds all spread out. Them was "my ladys" :thu:

I still remember the first dirty mag I found where it was clear the dude was going backdoor. Pretty sure that was my first serious case of chaffing.

Good times.

My first was a mid 70's issue of Hustler. It was the issue that had the nudes of Jackie Kennedy Onasis in it.
