FINALLY got PUBG on the Xbone yesterday!!! Imagine my surprise when I get what I thought would be a DVD in the mail only to find out it's a card with a download code!!! WTF... Email that shit to me!
ANY WAY.... it's still kinda buggy on XBox... but playable... obviously doesn't look as good as the PC version... but still decent... the best I've done is 8th in a round... still getting use to the controls

1.0 is in! New map ans FPP ahoy! They have removed rain and fog matches from Erangel though due to performance issues. I hope they add them back in. Fog matches were awesome.

I got a bit too greedy with an 8x Scar but otherwise had a great round. I'm starting to get a feel for the guns now after 30 ish hours in. I will over the next few days hopefully cobble enough footage together from the highlight cam to make a micro uzi gank supercut

Jumped in with some noobs earlier playing squads; got 4 kills right off the bat and picked up the other 3 guys...they treated me like a god the whole game lol
Did my first Xbox one X game just now. Big game. Pretty clunky. Still very fun. Killed 3 and died 3. Third time I landed in a building with a guy and he out boxed me

yeah... it is pretty clunky on Xbone.... my internet has been shit for the last week and I've been getting terrible lag... I have a tech from the Cable Company coming out to check my modem and connection to the main network. Hopefully that fixes it
Vault Dude has a Discord server, monster amount of people in there all the time looking for squads, duos etc...it’s a good time and they all speak English. Looking for games check it out. Way more fun than random squads if you don’t have friends that play.
So according to Reddit the game is a clusterfuck of Chinese hackers now, which I have to say has not been my experience at all and I tend to watch all my death cams so I can learn from them. Is this just a case of salty redditors? There are certainly some compelling videos showing said hackers in replays but if you believe reddit then literally every game is overrun with them. What say GABs pubg'ers?

There are hackers and some vids prove it but no way they’re in every game. If P is working and I have the day off I’ll play 5-10 hours and maybe see one, if that.
These people act like they’re in every game all over the place. Battlegrounds forums are full of whiners that suck crying cheaters in every match.
Yeah I figured it was mainly people being salty. I'm going to start making efforts to lower my sensitivity and improve accuracy as I'm more used to twitch shooting and high sensitivity is doing me no favours in pubg.

FINALLY got my internet connection sorted.... had to do some mucking around with my WiFi but now I'm getting decent enough speeds to play consistently..... annoying part is it seems the Xbox servers are shit at night lol... I can play just fine in the afternoon... anything after 7 or 8 O'Clock I can't even get in to a game....
despite that... had some good sessions yesterday, best I did was 7th... but getting the hand of the menus and controls.... my chicken dinner is only a matter of time.
I fucking SUCK lately. Seems like most times it comes to a direct gunfight, I die... I dont like using full auto because it usually empties your gun quick & you get muzzle climb.

The recoil has changed a fair bit in 1.0 it seems and some guns blow in full auto past the first 5 rounds. Check this out:

I suck lately too tho....been playing squads and everyone wants to jump hot; seems like I die almost immediately and then to be a good sport I have to watch the rest of em play lol.
I have two other guys that if we can find time to be on together they like going more low profile; jump slightly easier areas and try and sneak for the win. I seem to do better that way...
