Rap isn't just top 20 radio garbage. I'm a white kid from the suburbs though...so I won't have many recommendations that'll change you mind. I'm a big fan of P.O.S. though.

I also didn't bring up anything racist. I'm just saying its dumb to say "let's shoot rappers". That picture definitely didn't convey the joke of "all rappers shoot each other" IMO. Instead it just looks like "the world would be a better place if we killed them all"

Cadence is a word that has pretty much lost all of it's meaning in modern music. It's not just rappers that have sucky flow. Listen to all these douchebag singer songwriters strumming away with no meter(internal, external, whatever works). Just free-jamming crap. I work midnights, so I see the worst of it on Leno, letterman, etc.. It's deplorable. Every now and then I'll catch something good. But more often than not, I see Letterman or Leno struggling to say something nice.

But really, they're like me. All WTF???

It's like even 4/4 is hard now.
