Oh yikes - I had missed this guy completely.

I once attempted to play with a keyboard player who was EXACTLY like this dude. It was impossible, he was nearly incapable of playing any actual songs, it was all intros and gliss and runs. All stunts and no music. I felt like I needed a shower afterward. Its obvious people like this don't' play with anyone else, EVER.

No way is this guy trolling. He is completely in his own world though.

I am so sorry I never recorded a show we had locally on our cable public access channel.
I really don't want to sound like I'm hating on this guy, he was SO sincere. He called himself
Sledge and his band was Thorax. I'm not sure he knew a thorax is a body part, he may have
meant Thor Ax and spelled it wrong.

He had a show called Metal Method, where he taught you (true story) how to headbang.
In slow motion demo, while chugging rhythm on power chords.

Your clip reminded me of his skeevy methed out friend who showed up with a BC Rich Bich
and played 240 clams per minute in no particuar key.

But I had to respect Sledge's pure sincerity. If I ever bump into him at Sam Ash, I'm gonna have to leave to keep from embarassing both of us. I will fall apart laughing.
