The metallica part was foreshadowing. Max is going to wake up like the “one” video. She will be trapped in her mind. She will want to die. Eleven will come to her in the brain world and euthanize her. Then eleven will be sad she revived her.

I watched S1 years ago when it first came out but never watched S2 and on. Fast forward to S4 Vol 1 & 2 being released, me and the wife wanted to start from the beginning (I had forgotten most of the small details).

So I had to avoid this thread to avoid spoilers :lol: But I can't wait until it is confirmedthat SEVERAL 80's artist approached the writers to feature their music in the final season to drudge up more interest ala Kate Bush and that other band they used.

That being said, the show is good but maybe a but overhyped IMO now that I've finished it all :idk:

Lots of hype. Fell asleep on the next to last episode. Havne't made it to Metallica yet.
