By the way, if you summoned Nepheli for the Godrick fight she will now be in the roundtable hold and will give you an item if you exhaust her dialog.

Not sure it matters whether she survived the fight or not; she survived when I did it

Souls bosses are weird that way. What is insanely hard to one person isn't so bad to another. I remember in DS3, I was half drunk when I got to Boreal Dancer and beat it first try, but I knew of other people damn near ragequit because of it. It's strange.

I started as samurai and I'm running a strength/dex build.

Haven’t got to Godrick yet. Did kill Margit but now I’m running around doing other shit to level up a bit. Also, ran into the Tibia Mariner in the lakes area. Fun boss fight. Stay on horseback.

Finally beat Godrick tonight! Used the summon nearby and got a bonus item after. Just found the way to stormhill so I’m gonna hit that up and try to restore power to his fragment. This game rules. I freakin love it.

btw there are like 3 or 4 of those Tibia Mariners (maybe even more, but I think i've killed 3 or 4 so far)

Both Godrick and the unnamed root thing in the basement of Stormveil are wrecking my shit right now. I can get Godrickto about a third left, but his dragon head always gets me.

I'm new to this series so I've been just wandering around and farming runes to build up my stats.

I have the wolves, the jellyfish, and the skeletons. I also summoned the girl right outside of the mist gate. Granted, I only tried him maybe 4 or 5 times, but never got him any closer than that. Right after he freaks out and goes to the second phase, I never can get away from the fire.

Oh shit, totally forgot that I have that fire talisman. I'll have to try that. I think I'm level 52?

I think i'm level 120ish at this point. Past few days I've just been running around picking up stuff I missed and clearing out all the catacombs and caves; tryna get all that done before I go to the capital for the last great rune and then the endgame area.

Furlcalling Finger Remedy I believe to see other's signs

Tarnished Furled Finger to leave your own sign for someone else to summon you to their game

Small Golden Effigy to send your sign to the nearest summoning pool (lil crucifix looking statue you can interact with to reveal the summon pool)

Have the fixed the frame rate physics/input timing on PC? This made DS2 a total pain in the cock on PC as at 60 Hz you had half the time to input parry/riposte, making it a fuckton harder. A friend of mine was a DS beast on playstation but nearly cried trying it on PC because if this.

I think DS2 is the only game in the series where the parry window got longer/shorter as the framerate changed

I never use shields unless it's required for a boss tbh

I'm not sure if Alexander the Living Jar and Blaidd the Beastman will show up there and be available to summon unless you meet them ahead of time....if they weren't there waiting for the "festival" to begin then I'd recommend going and finding them first

But yeah like I mentioned, including those two, there are like 6 or 7 NPC summons available for the fight (their signs will be in the actual boss arena and you'll run across them while the fight first starts and Radahn is trying to yeet you with arrows)


What level are you at?

Yeah I've summoned all those boys. I'm having a problem where I get caught and knocked off my horse. I might try and hang back more and let the summons kill him

I've got the Jar and Blaidd.

I'm level 56 I think.
