Angra isn't exactly obscure stuff, they just didn't crack the US markets quite like they did in South America and Europe. And probably Japan. And they were a thing in the early-ish 90s.

I only recently heard them. For whatever reason. The couple of tunes I heard were pretty solid Their singer reminds me of Weird Al so bonus points for that too
