Yeah I just did the wildlife preserve mission. I enjoyed it though! I'm only level 24 haha. I have been enjoying doing all the side missions.

oh yeah... @ lvl24 that mission isn't that bad really and can be fun, it's when you get in to True Vault Hunter Mode it gets a little tougher, as expected, BUT other parts of the game that were relatively easy before are now STUPID hard in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, some regular enemies are just ridiculous to kill now, the two that have been handing my ass to me most regularly are the Super Bad Ass Loaders and Rabid Stalkers.... the loaders are tough but at the same time if you're smart you can deal with them the Rabid Stalkers are just insane, I just don't have a strong enough weapon to knock them down quickly and they are fast and SUPER aggressive....

Made it up to lvl58 yesterday.. this game seriously wins at putting you up against enemies that are tough THEN you find a gun that makes them relatively easy.... 2 missions later, your super awesome gun that was ripping people to shreds isn't so effective and the hunt for a replacement starts all over lol

You aren't using your lvl 50 orange gear?

ummm.... some of them but I've started getting much better higher level blue and purple gear... in the end lvl50 gear is still lvl50 gear so it's not really that great against lvl58 and lvl59 enemies... so with that in mind I'm just doing all the side missions I can do just to level up and find/earn more powerful weapons.

Does the game of the year Borderlands have improved graphics, or does it just include downloadable content etc?

From what I understand, just the downloadable content.....package deal.
I think only PC with the proper graphics card can provide improved graphics.

I'm in the middle of the turf war with the Zafords and Hodunks, I saved just before I did the mission where you blow up the trailer park. I'm realllly not looking forward to the Wildlife Preserve mission just because of the Rabid Stalkers... fuckers are a real pain in the ass to kill
The golden keys are a useless waste of time. All you get is mediocre purple stuff.

you know.... I will agree with you that on average you do tend to get useless purple stuff but I have gotten a couple pretty awesome items with the golden keys in the past so it doesn't hurt to look and it's no biggie if the loot sucks... just sell it

If you've got nothing, a decent purple item can help.
I've been trying to progress my characters through UVHM solo, mostly Gaige right now.
Im-fucking-possible.
I made it to the part where you meet claptrap, and he lowers the hyperion shield.
That part is challenging anyway, but solo it's nearly impossible.
Did 2 player co-op with my Maya and it wasn't as terribly difficult.......we beat the main gain and almost beat the Torgue DLC.

I've been trying to solo my Zero through UVHM... Jesus... I've gotten to the Wildlife preserve and I just can't beat that dumb ass bird!!! need more powerful guns... So I started the 1st DLC so I can push through that to get the Sand Hawk.. that should make a massive difference

Not played for a few days. I've been distracted by the new star trek game and trying to actually get netflix to work properly...

I haven't played in a while as well... mostly because I was focussed on Bioshock Infinite... now that I've finished Bioshock I'll probably go back and get my ass handed to me in UVHM

I played BL1 last night. damn I love that game.
Played a little Halo 4 online with the bro-in-law over the weekend. damn I hate that game.
Been busy otherwise.
In BL2, my co-op character has UVHM beat, Torgue DLC 95% done.
I have no desire to level up my other characters.....like I did before.
The thought of having to play thru all of it again with Krieg isn't as appealing either.
I've started Bioshock Infinite, but I really just need a couple hour block of time to really get into it.

yeah... I think after I do the missions I like and finish the main story with Zero in UVHM that might be it for me for a while with BL2... I have the season pass so I guess I will get the last DLC since I've pretty much paid for it already but the game has gotten to that point for me where it's so stupid hard it becomes more annoying than fun... then again.. maybe I just need to get better weapons lol

Yeah......I tried to solo UVHM.....but it was impossible. I have better guns too, but it didn't matter.
I agree with you though. It's very hard. it's cheap hard, not fun hard.
2 shot dead. wtf!?!?
Only thing that makes it easier is playing co-op..imo..even then it's hard.
I won't be playing much until Krieg and the DLC.
Excited about the next DLC tho......new content is always welcomed.
BL1 has much less dialog, less everything, and no real story, but yet........I can always come back to it and have a bit of fun.

BL2 or BL1?
BL2 is much easier to get people into.
BL1 is like asking your friends to hang out at the library.
BL2 is like asking your friends to hang out at the tavern.

14th Krieg is released. June 25th the 4th DLC.
Those will give me more reasons to play. I agree. UVHM is PITA.
friend and I tried to beat Pyro Pete in hopes that we could get some better gear, but we got his shield down to 1/4.......then we died with barely any ammo left.
we're still using mostly lvl 50 gear. haven't found anything else.
BL1 was challenging if you weren't overleveled, but yet you felt more like a badass. BL2 it's just hoping you don't randomly get 1-2 shotted to death.

I've been doing the missions so I've been getting some pretty decent upgraded gear, next to none of my LVL50 gear is worth shit now lol... I stopped the main main story and went over to do the Pirate DLC since you get some decent weapons in the story missions in that DLC.. I'm hoping that give me a good enough boost to get back in to the main game and start kickin' some ass... once I hit lvl61 I'm going to go online to see if I can get some guys to dupe me some stronger gear
