Nah, I'm keeping that handle. It's a good handle... not too heavy, not too light and the carving is right where I like to hold it.

No problem, dude^ I love this handle, because it's light weight, and there aren't enough modern hollow handles made from multiple pieces.

Another great shave with the Charcoal Goods Lvl 2. P160 was badass. Barbedeaux and Zaharoff are awesome.

So, the news is out. I'm making amateur perfumes/colognes now. Here is my first men's fragrance with which I'm happy. It's a rip roaring woody fougere with cedar, vetiver, clove, lemon, spearmint, and wormwood. I can't believe how well it came together. It's exactly how Creed Viking SHOULD have smelled. This even performs better. The letters on the bottle stand for "If you says so, pal." It's me in a bottle, and a study of being in denial about something/whatever. We all want to be something else. We all regret doing or not doing something. Or, we want to be more or less of SOMETHING. This is the ideal, masculine, barbershop, classic, awesome aftershave scent of my making, and I think it's an idealized version of how men should smell, in general.
Also, this soap fuckin' rules. This razor rocks. This blade was just ok. This Wild West Brush is killer.

Maaannn, these Heba/Neva vintage carbon steel Russian blades fucking suck. I debated jumping out of the shower and switching razors. fffuuuuck. Oh well. You win some, you lose some. Can't strike gold on every vintage blade purchase. Damn. Well, shoot. Ajax, might like em.

GREAT soap. Mastro Miche rocks. I think he is just having TFS make stuff for him. It's awesome. This one is a beautiful Muguet (Lilly of the Valley) scent. Just beautful. Awesome lather. etc.
LOVE my Fougere I made. outstanding. I could probably sell it as a Viking clone. seriously.
8/10 because of this awful blade.

Interesting one today. Needed to hurry.
Razor - awesome
Blade - surprisingly good! Treet Platinum 7Days. Go figure.
Proraso Blue foam - awesome.
Abbate Y La Mantia Laurieto (Bay Leaf) after shave - kind of burned. Not sure why. Verdict is out,

Edit: missed a day!

Perfect shave.

Good shave. Wunderbar is aggressive. Good shave though.
Moon soaps are badass. This scent is great.
My new cologne. Developed for falcon joe. Equal parts oud, myrrh, patchouli, amyris, labdanum, and tonka bean. Absolutely astoundingly good.
10/10.

The Gillette Sticky should be reissued.
Feather Stainless are up there.
When I first got a bottle of Phoenix Vetiver Planet, I thought it smelled like moldy cardboard. Now, I love it!!! I took the label off to reuse the bottle for my next batch of Bay Rum... I think Bay Rum with Vetiver will be awesome.
Grooming Dept makes totally excellent lather.

Man, I'm slackin.
Yesterday:

In a massive rush. felt like garbage all day. Weekends are hard. Good shave though. 9.5/10. mood was bad. never recovered. Tired all day. Got a cold from the fam.

In another rush, but the yellow foam rules. It's the best of the bunch. This treet platinum blade was surprisingly good. It was nice to use the steel CG Everyday. Good hsave.

Fluffernuns arrived today... man, it smells GREAT... can't wait to try it!!!!
They could charge about $4 or $5 less if they sold the tub without the expensive packaging.

Dude, Fufluns impressed me so much, I bought like 3 more AYLM soaps.

Great shave today. These RK blades are the shit! Very good.
Noble Otter is still batting 1000. Never a bad shave with it. Scent is interesting. It's like a smoky ship. Really weird. I always assumed it would be like bay rum. It's NOT.

Which ones did you get?
I just checked Maggards and it looks like they have a nice selection.

Garibaldi - supposed to smell like a personal journey smoking on a boat?
Vulcano - supposed to smell like hot peppers on your face to know you're a man or the middle of the Earth?
Crumiro - supposed to smell like a sweet biscuit.
I got em all at The Razor Co.

Personna single edge sucks in the Eco. bummer.
Cubebe smells good today though. Terrorade is nice because the house is hot as shit. We finally caved and turned on the air.

Interesting shave.
Usually, these Asian Gillettes freakin suck, but this one was great. Looks like China platinum made for either Thailand or Vietnam.
Moon Tobacco flower was awesome. Super soft though. Ended up with a chunk or two in the brush from overloading. Should be fine though. very minor issue. Shaved great. GREAT scent.
TDH used to be my signature scent. Maybe, it should be again.
I'm starting to think the Muhle Rocca is the best razor ever. It's better than most of my razors, and it costs less than most of them too.

Proraso bowls:
Scent - green - 10/10. Red 8/10. White: 9/10
Lather - 8/10
Performance - 7/10
Price - 10/10
It leaves a white residue on your hardware though. Make sure to wipe your razor with a towel or the stuff will build up.
It’s a solid product, but I actually prefer the creams and foams.

I got em all at The Razor Co.
I got my FlufferNuns at The Razor Co too... Maggards is also selling it.
I bought too much crap in May... I think I'll pick up two more in June.
It's almost time to PIF some of my soaps...

I used the Vulcano today. Very boring scent. Kind of just like a mild licorice scent. Good shave though. You're not missing anything if you already have Fufluns.
even with the boring scent, the shave went pretty great. This blade sort of sucks at 2.

Crossing Vulcano off my list!!!

None of the descriptions in aftershave or soap advertisements are ever accurate. It's always hit or miss.
The FlufferNuns really lathers well. I think it's the best lather ever... slick, protective and it smells nice.
It's my new favorite.

I haven’t posted shit in days:

Xxx awesome! Adp incredible. Satinex sucked. 9/10

Crumiro is ok. Not as good as fuferlums. 8/10

Crumiro is not doing well for me. 8/10 scent is good performance and lather are fine, but this would have been a better winter shave.
I need to get back to my mentholated pre shave cream.

Finally had a chance to take a pic of the Fluffernuns in use. Man, this is the best shitz!!!!
- The Mad Max handle on the SLOC with a Feather Stainless (yellow). I'm inclined to say that the SLOC is my favorite, all time, desert island razor.
- Omega Boar
- B&M 42
12/10 I could go on using this combo forever.
