That was brutal, wasn't it?
My problem with Chip is that, he's proven that he's not a good talent evaluator, so, I don't see it getting much better, unless he learns from his mistakes.

Its the rare head football coach that does but those that do have some great success.
Chip seems to be learning the hard way that in the pros talent determines scheme, not vice versa. I do have to say I feel vindicated in being skeptical of his off-season moves. You don't spend that much on veteran RBs, especially when you can't even evaluate the main guy you signed doesn't fit your scheme at all. You just don't do it. To say nothing of the Bradford move or his various other signings.
I know Foles sucked, I get that. But you traded Foles and a 4th & 2nd round pick to get Bradford, who sucks and is just another major injury waiting to happen, and a 5th round pick. This is Phil Emery logic here.
I think Chip can be a really good NFL coach if he got a good front office to find him talent and became a bit more elastic in how he uses it. Oh, and realized that in the NFL you HAVE to play defense and that exhausting your defense by leaving them on the field all the time isn't a recipe for long term success.
And damn, how about those Cardinals? They brutalized the Packers. Why was Rodgers in as long as he was? I mean I get that the theory is if he's in you might always come back, but you can't when he's lying on the ground bent into a pretzel! Yikes!
Congrats KCTC because unless Joe's kicker has the best game in NFL history I think you have this sewn up.

Good season guys!

I swear I thought I was gonna run away with the damn championship. When I need Big Ben and Brown the most they failed me big time. Second place isn't too shabby though.
Good season though guys. Was a lot of fun again.

Re: Sticky: 2015 GABF Fantasy Football Thread
As I saw someone on twitter post "Kelly the GM got Kelly the coach fired. Jackson, Maclin, Shady gone with no real replacements."
That's part of it. I think if Kelly wasn't GM he'd be back for at least another year. But I really do think his complete disregard for defense was a huge part of his downfall.
They were 15th in ESPN's total defense ranking in 2012. Then 29th in 2013. Then 28th in 2014. They look to finish 30th this year.
That's bad. Some of it is personnel for sure. Some of it was his frantic offensive pace killing his defense. Time of possession matters in the NFL where opposing teams have real defenses.
I was impressed at first with how he adapted his system to the NFL initially, but as time went on he didn't adapt further and got entrenched in his mindset that "He knew better than all." and got himself made GM. Wah wah wahhhhhhhhhh.
It'll be interesting to see if another team gives him a 2nd chance of if he slinks back to college.

Andy Cheeseburger Destroyer Reid will soon be annihilated in the playoffs after his current win streak against the NFL's shittiest teams (that Denver game was a fluke) is exposed for being a sham.
Kinda like how they started undefeated a few years ago and then floundered pathetically.

Man, how about that dumpster fire in Cleveland? Fire the GM & coach, ok. But have a dude in the org with 0 football experience in Sashi Brown, so he OBVIOUSLY should be in on deciding who will be GM. Oh, and he's gonna have a final say on the roster, the GM will just be "talent acquisition." Its not even clear if the GM is gonna hire the coach.
This is the sort of thing that brings top tier talent to your program and keeps it there.

Oh, and the QB the owner forced you drafted in the first round 2 years ago is out partying in Vegas instead of checking in with team docs because YOLO and concussions and team rules are for other people.
Ahh, never change Cleveland, never change.

We played the same schedule as Denver did, minus Indy and NE, and they lost to Indy...So they must be a sham too.
God dammit Dave, you know if they win this weekend, your ass is gonna be texting me drunk as shit. Just like dem Royals
