Are any of the guys in your band familiar with the song?
Most certainly!
I just found out that Electric Six played a gig in my city last night. A little bar that I've played myself a dozen times over the past 10 years or so.

I've had the pleasure of seeing them play 3-4 times in Austin. Always a blast each time. Highly recommended.

I see we're both fans of Coroner and Electric Six.

I had this on 8 track when it came out, then LP, now CD and I started taking guitar lessons with Paul Chapman recently. What a trip. This has been getting regular play lately.
Its making my day better but listening to shitty computer speakers dying trying to translate the song is sort of brutal. And not the good BROOOOOOOTAAAAAAAAAL kind either.

The Sword----Apogryphon. I didn't like this one at first but it's really growing on me.
Steely Dan----The Royal Scam
Yes----Big Generator
Steely Dan----Aja
Egypyt----Become The Sun. A local band. Their drummer is an old friend of mine and former bandmate. Doom mixed with some ZZ Top and Spirit influences and a great cover of Deep Purple's Black Night.
