I find myself completely uninterested in even fairly hot chicks because frankly, as a single parent I'm just busy as hell and if I'm gonna do anything but a casual sex type deal they're gonna have to be flat amazing.

Being a single parent you frankly don't have the time and mental effort to play the various games. Just ask her out, if she wants to go out she'll either accept or not. Don't expect any sort of time commitment on her part. I've kicked several chicks to the curb over the last 3 years because they couldn't get it into their heads that I'm not going to drop everything all the time and dote on them like we're in high school or some sort of co-dependent shit.
