My mother ended up passing in her sleep Wednesday morning when whatever cause the clots in her heart and brain cause one in her lung. Reeling right now.

My brother is out of the hospital, has to undergo blood tests periodically. and i have to go see a hematologist to check for genetic blood disorders.

dad came over tonight and sipped whiskey (macallan 10 the other night, redbreast 12 tonight), swapped sea stories, watched football, ate dinner, coffee/pie. good night. it helps to get our mind off things.

however im still prepping both for myself and for him....his birthday is monday, we bury mom on tuesday. fuck.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. It was only a couple of years ago I lost my Dad, and I know it's not easy. I hope your brother feels better.
