I only have 2.

I want more. But I'm cheap and what I want (something along the lines of my avatar on my shoulder) will not be cheap cause I'd want someone competent to do it. So, just two small ones for now. We'll see if I ever decide I want to drop the coin on more.

My artist is cool in that he's like a bank. I'll schedule sessions months in advance. And then every week I'll drop some money off. 50 here. 20 there. 100 there... For instance, when I was doing my sleeve I had about $1000 down by the time my first session came. After the session, he only took out the amount that was due (around $350), and left the rest for following sessions.

Cereal, If you're worried your tattoo will be "out of style" in a few years, you've completely missed the point of being tattooed and should most definitely not get one.

I have none. I'm 31 tho.

Not sure what I would even get. I'd probably have to get something really dense since I have freckles across my shoulders and upper arms

Yeah, I figured that out myself.

I thought about it several times back in the late 60's but I just couldn't decide on an image. Any of the ones I considered I would hate to have on me now, so I made the right decision for me. Of course there is always the eternal "Mom" tatt.

No tattoo's on me yet, but I've been thinking of getting one, just don't know what to get yet and also I've been lazy and spending my money on other things, like bills.

None here either. I considered getting the Triforce from the Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess era, but decided against it.

Just wasn't my thing I guess.

I'm not against them, my wife has a few. When she tries to talk me into getting one I always tell her that you don't put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.

That's awesome. That's the other thing, I'd have to actually put in work and find a good artist. I know we have some around here, but I don't know who they are. I know there are LOTS of them around here so I'd have to weed through them.

Other things always just seem more importantant.

I don't have any either. One of my best friends is a tattoo artist though, but he's constantly getting stupid tattoos just because he can. His latest were a cow being beamed up by a UFO and a tramp stamp that reads "Insert coin here". The more stupid tats he gets, the less desire I have to ever get one.

I have one large one, a piece that my wife drew (she has a matching one). She has a few more than I do, and is set to get another one tonight. (I got a Tele, she gets more ink. Hooray, bonus!)

I didn't get mine until I was 35, and I'm glad I waited. A bad tattoo is like an Affliction t-shirt that you can never take off.

No tatoos, basically two reasons:
1) Out of all the people I know with tatoos, 95% are women, hence it just seems like an effeminate thing to me
2) Once you get to a certain age, having tatoos is just  and I might end up living that long, so, :idk:

i don't but that's why we're bros and handsome motherfuckers

1. i don't see the need to get a tat that i have to hide at work and go out of my way (like take off my shirt) to show someone. makes 0 sense. and it's way too fucking hot in TX to wear sleeves every day especially with casual Fridays.

2. i was given strict orders by my Momma that i would miss out on certain financial compensation when they die if i ever got one. plus i love my Momma so there's that.

3. i don't judge/hate/dislike/whatever about people that do, however- just not for me and not a wise career move to get a throat tat of NoLimitHonky in Olde English font. certain tats on chicks can be hot too.
Tell yer Momma I aksed her how she durrin...

Hey, if you've been through that (you're MtF, right?), removal of a mere tattoo should be a piece of cake. I say go for it. :hi5:

None here. Never wanted one, won't be getting one. Not my thing.

Some people I know just get the most random stuff scrawled on their body. Like a random flower on the calf, a heart on the forearm... Basically whenever they scraped up $50-100 they'd get some random shit done with no thought to the future.

Then other people actually focus on the art of it and get some really good looking ink.

I really don't understand the random collection of crappy drawings.
