Ugh I hate to be a hater but…. 2019-2021 I was so into goose but then they just died for me. Music seemed to get worse, ricks ego is insufferable and the crowd just sucks. So many other lower tier jam bands deserve to be way bigger than goose I just don’t understand
Lol I told yah they are just another band here, I had no clue they were some big touring band. I think one of them is living with my old boss now
Really??? That’s bizarre because I know at least half of them come from money and they’ve got to be making bank from just this the last few years lol
Lots of superior jam bands from CT as I’m sure you know
That unfortunately probably are just “another local band” status lol

ill find out who it is, my old boss follows them all over the place, they have "porchfest" here where this neighborhood closes off and bands play on peoples porches and front yards, they usually play his house and i figured they were just another local band till i heard they were touring with trey. i listen to them and it just sounds like boring elevator jam to me theres so much jam stuff going on around here i cant even keep track, like saturday night was a few eggy dudes with a few known local dudes and they make it into a big show. tim palmeiri has some sort of regular gig that is always a random group of known dudes. this is funk night for us on wednesday nights at this little dive bar, this same shit is going on at a few bars on different nights of the week around here, its crazy.

I’m not totally sold on eggy busy based on soundboards but they’re definitely on the path at the moment. I can’t really judge til I see them live
Tim is and always has been an absolute beast, he breakfast was fire.
He’s in lotus now. I’ve seen lotus many times over the years but the first time with Tim earlier this year at the tribute shows for Chuck (RIP oh my god one of the saddest most fucked uo things)
But Tim kills it, and while I’ve always loved lotus, they actually peak now with Tim. The tribute show for Chuck and Charlie ranks extremely high in all time shows. And it wa cool seeing both him and Rempel (the guy he replaced) playing together

This final tour has been insane. I’m so glad I decided to finally go in Boulder and definitely kicking myself for having never gone before but maybe this was peak. Seeing dead tributes is an almost weekly ritual for me and I got to see Phil and Bobby play together at lockn 2017, but yeah Folsom was by far the greatest dead experience I’ve ever had
So glad you got to go hard on this final run dude, much love!! Hope there is a next chapter of some kind because I surely want more
I didn't hear of a single bad show this tour, and heard lots of good things about the Folsom shows. Best Dead tribute ever, lol. I've heard strange rumors for the last two weeks, several of which did not pan out, but I have read a quote from Mickey that they might be done touring, but they haven't played their last show. Who knows, maybe they'll reconvene for festivals and stuff.

Just popping in to say that John Mayer Trio! is one of the best albums of all time. Catches that live blues vibe just an incredible album. Top 5 all time for me without hesitation.
