I'm reminded every day that selling my Gladiator for a fat profit, and buying a toy Jeep and a hybrid for daily driving was the best possible move.

just got word that i'll be working from home for at least the next 3 years! company has been extending deadline every month or two for the past 2 years which has been annoying. been saving $30/week on parking garage, and probably at least $60/week in gas.

my car doesn't do horrible on the highway, but i'm rarely on the highway - gets around 18-20mpg in the suburban/city driving i mostly do. twin-turbo and AWD ... no bueno for gas mileage. also nice to keep the miles low on it.
