These things can't be unseen and shouldn't be left unhandled.. Go on a trip, spend some time in nature, play guitar, hug a puppy, talk to a friend, idk... whatever you need to do to detox from this.
This is some hardcore shit to witness dude. You've been around here enough that I know you're a strong guy with a good head on your shoulders, but just don't leave this memory unattended. Take some conscious effort to heal.

Same for your daughter, although if she's a nurse she's probably seen a lot already but still. That's hardcore for anyone.

Yeah my daughter actually broke down and just started weeping last night saying she can’t stop seeing his head. And she said the same that she’s seen dead people and sees been working towards being a surgical tech and has even been an a part of brain and heart surgeries and full on body’s splayed open type stuff. And this caught her pretty good. I admit that his face with those black holes for eyes and “bumpy” swollen head with the black blood dried and pouring from his eyes is not sumthin I have shook from just popping up either.

The worst is she has her final exam to BECOME a surgical tech today. And she even emailed and asked to postpone taking it due to lack of sleep and the situation and was told if she fails to take the test she will fail the class. So much for this current “mental health” movement..: And this one is easily verifiable that he was our neighbor and that even some in the neighborhood heard that “neighbors” walked in and saw him. Cause I had one day that t o me. That they heard neighbors went in and it’s like yeah that was me.

So yeah, ugly situation all around.

Funny story no more. I know you're not into "mojo sent" and all that, but I hope your daughter can get through this without any major setbacks to her life and education.

Yeah - best wishes for your daughter, man. Hope she can make the best of the situation and that she's able to find some temporary relief in keeping focused on the priority. Can't imagine having to unsee something so Godawful horrible.

They have to. But they let her out. Which tells me she’s “cooperating”. The one investigator seemed to diminish her role but she was involved the entire time. According the the brother of the dead he said she even changed herself to be beneficiary of some investments upon death and something was changed with the deed of the house, which he isn’t clear on yet but she was setting him up to die and benefit. There’s no question. And yet she’s out
