I was reading a book about gigging, and the author was talking about taking various substances prior to a gig. He called this one something like unleashing the dragon. It worked for Carlos Santana.

We have been talking today and no yelling. Time for me to quit being a pussy and move on. I guess Key West it is
It sure does feel good to get back home from a 10 days and sleep in your own bed

I went to Key West once and I loved it. Got to swim in the Atlantic Ocean, and the sights of that place were awesome. Would love to go again. Go on down there and enjoy it man. Have some drinks, walk around downtown and check out the street performers and just kinda forget about the other bullshit. I know getting down there itself won’t be fun, but I think you’ll dig the place once you’re there. And I wholeheartedly agree about being back in your own bed.

is it the actual traveling part? Tell your doctor and straight up ask for a sedative. My doctor hooked me up and now a 5 hour flight is nearly no issue as I sleep through it

I did this a few years back. I take Diazepam 5mg twice a day when I travel. It really does help some.
Hell, once I get to my destination I usually have more fun than my wife ... It's just getting there
