I agree and disagree. 100 to 110 degree is common here where I've lived pretty much all my life, the valley-half of Los Angeles. But lemme tell ya, I'd be miserable if it snowed and remained in the 30s for a whole week. I don't have anything that would support me through that kind of weather for any period, nor does the infrastructure. That kinda weather would simply be dangerous if not lethal here. Sheeeit, people die here just from rain.
yes - 30's can be lethal without proper infrastructure.
But growing up in Wisconsin - I remember the 'rule' in the winter was that it would have to 'warm-up' to the 20's for it to be able to snow!!!

Get that shit out of here. I was in NYC yesterday and the only thing open at 6:00p was a goddamn McDonalds. All the actual restaurants were closed "due to the heat".
