From what I've read a 980 is only pulling 30-40 FPS on low settings. It just doesn't have the VRAM.

I’m 5-6 hours into the story so far and really digging it. It doesn’t run perfect on my Series X but it is good enough to enjoy.
I had low expectations though as I figured it wasn’t a game for me (I didn’t like the Witcher.)
Shame they f’d old gems so badly though.
