Yeah, I’ve seen those. I have ddrum triggers since 2002. So, I have no need.

But I’d be super surprised/impressed if a piezo can accurately pick up a cymbal that vibrates WAY more than a drum skin

Either way, I am going to grab the mesh head/quiet cymbal pack soon. More than anything, I just want to set up my kit and play it.

The Yamaha cymbals are nice and have multi zone rides etc. They are more affordable than the Rolands. Check compatibility between brands. I had a hell of a time with the ride and hi hat pedal when I DIY'd mine several years ago.
